Nabertherm furnaces for manufacturing pharmaceutical ingredients – Partner officially opens new production facility.
On January 24, 2025, our partner Phi-Stone® AG took a significant step toward its future direction with the grand inauguration of its new production facility in Flintbek. In the state-of-the-art cleanroom manufacturing, eight custom-designed kilns play a key role.

The new production facility is equipped with cutting-edge technology and increases the annual production capacity of tetrapodal zinc oxide (Microbivac®) from 50 kg to 3 tons under GMP-certified conditions. It is an excellent example of how research can be translated into industrial scale. The construction of the facility and the eight furnaces required for it were funded by the state of Schleswig-Holstein with nearly 900,000 EUR.
