New Combi Furnace for Dental Laboratories: LCA 04/13 LB for Sintering and Stress-Relief Annealing
With the combi furnace LCA 04/13 LB, Nabertherm expands its portfolio for dental laboratories with a compact and versatile solution. The furnace is designed for both the sintering of cobalt-chromium (CoCr) restorations and stress-relief annealing after laser sintering, combining two essential heat-treatment processes in a single unit.
Depending on the application, the furnace can be equipped with either a dedicated sintering bell set or an annealing bell set for stress-relief annealing. This gives the LCA 04/13 LB maximum flexibility and allows it to be optimally adapted to the requirements of modern dental laboratories.
For the sintering of CoCr crowns and bridges, the restorations are heat-treated in a special sintering bell under an argon atmosphere. The unique system design, combined with sintering pearls, creates an almost oxygen-free environment while keeping argon consumption low. The open system is compatible with all common CoCr blanks from leading manufacturers and can be freely programmed for various materials up to a sintering temperature of 1280 °C.
For stress-relief annealing after laser sintering, components are processed under a dedicated annealing bell. The integrated gas supply system allows precise adjustment of the protective gas atmosphere, while the lifting table enables rapid cooling – either automatically according to the selected program or manually, depending on process requirements.
